Battlefield Earth (marketed theatrically as L. Ron Hubbard's Battlefield Earth and often abbreviated to BF:E) is an 2020 epic alternate history science fiction action-thriller directed by Neill Blomkamp, written by Blomkamp and Terri Tatchell, and produced by Blomkamp, Adam Campbell-Sing, Simon Kinberg, Paula Weinstein and Will Ward. It was internationally co-produced between Germany, Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, and South Africa.

The film, an adaptation of L. Ron Hubbard's novel of the same name and a loose remake of the 2000 film also of the same name, the film depicts an alternate-reality modern era Boston, Massachusetts, which has been observed by an man-eating, ultra-intelligent alien species called the Psychlos, who have arrived from the year 3000 and have been observing a previous number of major cities on Earth since the end of WWII.

It was released in conventional and IMAX theatres on May 22, 2020, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
