Inner Martyrs is a horror parody film directed by Jim Morales, released in 2009. The film parodies the French horror films Inside and Martyrs and serves as commentary against French horror in general.

Plot Edit

Follows the plots of the aforementioned two movies, but each have more self awareness.

Before the main film begins, we see parody trailers based on When a Stranger Calls and The Descent.

Reception Edit

The film received mixed reviews from critics. French viewers outright rejected the film on the grounds that it was unnecessarily mocking them, but has garnered a cult following amongst parody movie fans.
