The Island of the Skog is a upcoming 2017 American-Australian 3D computer-animated epic survival adventure film based on the book of the same name by Steven Kellogg. James Wan directed the film, Akiva Goldsman, Jon Berg and Bill Kowalchuk produced the film, Jeffrey Reddick and Hampton Fancher wrote the film with Emma Bell, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Brendan Fraser, Katherine Heigl, Texas Battle, Nick Zano, Mykelti Williamson and Jennifer Tilly voicing the characters set in a post-19th century New England and Hawaii

The film is Scheduled for Release on July 21, 2017 by Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros Pictures
